DAY 1 | 4 AUGUST 2026 – ARRIVAL IN TANZANIA
Arrival: Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional Safari Box Adventures driver-
guide, holding a personalized sign. After a short briefing, you will begin your scenic drive to
Tarangire National Park, passing through Maasai villages and beautiful countryside.
Drive time: Approx. 2–3 hours

DAY 2 | 5 AUGUST 2026 – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire
Today is dedicated to exploring Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated and
wildlife-rich parks.
About Tarangire National Park
Tarangire is famous for:
Massive elephant herds, often seen in large family groups
Ancient and iconic baobab trees
The Tarangire River, a permanent water source attracting wildlife year-round
Wildlife commonly seen includes:
Elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs
Giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo
Over 550 bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers
You will enjoy an extended game drive with picnic lunch inside the park, allowing you to fully

DAY 3 | 6 AUGUST 2026 – TARANGIRE → KARATU
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive to the lush highlands of Karatu, located near the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This scenic drive passes through rolling hills, coffee plantations, and local villages.

DAY 4 | 7 AUGUST 2026 – NGORONGORO CRATER EXPERIENCE
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater
Today you experience one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders — the Ngorongoro Crater, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site.
